Oxford Harmonic Society, a leading Oxford choir

  • One of Oxford's oldest mixed-voice amateur choirs
  • Concerts in central Oxford's major venues
  • Extensive repertoire of large-scale classical choral works

The Oxford Harmonic Society, founded in 1921, is one of Oxford's oldest non-collegiate choirs and one of Oxfordshire’s leading amateur, mixed-voice choral societies. We are a friendly choir with about 120 singing members and welcome talented and enthusiastic singers wishing to join us. Each year the choir performs three choral concerts in Oxford, covering a diverse range of classical music, under the baton of conductor Robert Secret. The main venues for these concerts are the Sheldonian Theatre and Oxford Town Hall. Most concerts also feature professional soloists and the Orchestra of Stowe Opera.
