Two simple ways to listen to the works being performed in this concert are via the Spotify and YouTube websites. Spotify allows you to select a wide range of recordings and play them in full, completely free. All you need to do is register with them and log on each time you want to use the website. YouTube requires no registration but the recordings are highly variable, usually only cover one section of a larger work at a time and, in many cases, have been recorded live in a concert.
Clicking on the icons below will take you to the Spotify registration page and YouTube home page respectively. The Spotify text includes suggested recordings to search for. Clicking on links in the YouTube text will take you directly to one of the better recordings available on that website. On either website you can search for the works by name without a conductor or soloist to see the full range of recordings available.

Spotify: First log on to Spotify, then try the following searches: 'Messiah Parrott', 'Messiah Pinnock', or 'Messiah Dunedin'. These searches will bring up the three recommended recordings of Messiah. N.B. The Parrott recording on Spotify is highlights, not the full work. |

YouTube: Search for 'messiah pinnock wizard9a9' to hear 18 sections of the Pinnock recording. Hundreds of other videos can be found by simply searching for 'Messiah', but they tend to be only a handful of sections at most, and of lower quality recordings. |

Oxford Harmonic Society recording: Follow this link to the History page where you can hear Oxford Harmonic Society performing 'For unto us a child is born' in a 2001 live recording of Messiah. |
