Oxford Harmonic Society's concerts are performed in major central Oxford venues including Oxford Town Hall and Sheldonian Theatre.
We are very proud to announce the details of the three choral concerts that Oxford Harmonic Society will be performing in this, the choir's 90th Anniversary season. The works include two all-time favourites - Messiah and The Creation - plus an extremely rare event, a chance to hear a live performance of Loewe's Passion Oratorio. In fact, although Loewe's songs and ballads often appear in recitals, this will be the first time that the Passion Oratorio has been performed in the UK, 165 years after it was written! We do hope you will join us at all three concerts to enjoy this glorious selection of choral gems, and to help us celebrate our first 90 years of music-making.
